Great article in Washington Post-
Click on my name.
It goes through the usual, is he to cranky to be president, but ends on a really good note.
Also Howard Kurtz in the post ponders the Time/Newsweek articles.

I still think it sounds funny and is not necessary for him to say that he "approved this message" that is coming out of his own mouth. I would think that it can be inferred from the fact that Dean is the one speaking the message. Why doesn't the Dean campaign clarify this rule with the FEC or whatever agency wrote it? They could gain a few valuable seconds in each commercial.

Couldn't access the ad. Got "unsupported OS". Using Netscape 7.1 on Windows NT 4.0 sp6. Unsupported? Probably doesn't support Linux either. Who do I complain to? The campaign shouldn't expect people to only have the Win9x family of OS's.
Millions of NT and 2000 users out there.

am i missing something? we used to be able to download those videos from howarddean.tv.

anthony, i know several other users have mentioned that Mac thing. have you emailed the campaign about it? just curious; if not i'll forward the info.

Thanks, Anna. I don't know who to e-mail. I have no web experience but I am a qualified programmer. Unemployed, is there any other kind? I will volunteer to bring other OS's in if I get some sort of initial direction. Willing to help even if it's just testing.

hey anthony, i did notice a new email address on the DFA site: work@deanforamerica.com

Either the candidate or his/her campaign HAS to state that they approved the ad, but I do feel that a brief voiceover at the beginning/end could do the trick just as well.

Or a subtitle underneath him as he speaks: "Per FEC rules this ad officially approved by the Howard Dean campaign." - assuming that's legit.

Is the ad available in a small QT file anywhere?
