Nice post, Aziz. BUT...

Remember why all those cynical voters got to be so jaded in the first place - because of the full-scale war being waged on disagreement by the right. It started during Clinton's presidency, as a reaction and a counter-culture.

As someone who has earned his cynic stripes, let me make a small correction: this started way before Clinton. It started with Reagan. His rhetoric, actually (his tax and spending actions look positively liberal in retrospect).

thx, this does run much deeper than the clinton thing... and maybe this is just because i'm relatively young, but i don't feel that the GOoPers really got nasty until after the robert bork hearings. am i wrong? can you provide some perspective?

I have been a person who believes in what he does and I ask myself a ? about Mr. Kerry and this should be answered by the man but his web site does not allow ? so let me ask Mr. Dean if it is possible to ask him I mean it might not be appropriate but in Nov of 2000 the HOUSE OF REP protested the 23 votes from Florida and needed just one senator to overturn or have a revote, where was Dodd, Kerry and the others to support My ///candidate VP AL Gore maybe I am wrong but would this have given the election to AL?
