Just minutes after Dean delivered a short, emotional speech to a crowd of cheering supporters at Nectar's in Burlington, he set off on foot toward his car, alone. He walked quietly, along Main Street, through City Hall Park and to his car, which he drove himself, parked at the corner of College and St. Paul streets.

^^^^ Funny that, or is it just me?

funny, how?

I think Dean needs more sleep. The Burlington Free Press says he's getting four hours a night over several nights. He's going to collapse one of these days.

Take a few days off Howard, you deserve it!

i tell ya, i was shocked to read on the blog, that after the LA rally on the west coast, dean and campaign had taken the red-eye and flown all night to come back east landing at 5 am. then who do i see on the today show the very same day? dean giving an interview at 7 am. jeez louise, the guy is a workhorse. while i do worry about him getting run down, it's exactly this type of nose-to-the-grindstone effort that gives me faith that we're going to win this thing.

The walk from Nectar's, through the park and over to College and Saint Paul is a lovely, short walk. Bet the Gov felt great being home and alone for a minute in the fresh autumn air in Vermont! Hope he gets many more of those moments - they are very rejuvenating!

Am I the only one worried that giving out Dean's route and parking spot is just asking for some nutjob to try and lay in wait for him in the hopes he'll walk off alone after a local speech sometime? This kind of minute detail of his itinerary bothers me a lot.
