I am so proud that DeanTV has turned into something other than a place to store old commercials. It's turning into something quite real.

So how about taking a corner of some place for a studio? Do a daily call-in show a la C-Span.

Nice clip. Weird cutoff, but great quote. This was another one of those "this-man-must-be-my-President" moments. I can't stress enough how important these types of feeling are for a candidate. In 2000, I thought, Al Gore "probably should" be President and "it would be nice if" Ralph Nader were President. This year my overarching feeling is, of course, "George W. Bush cannot be allowed to win 4 more years in my White House." But only Howard can generate the feeling that, this-is-the-guy. All the other candidates, it's like, he could be the guy, if he just fixed x and y, he would be the guy, maybe four years from now, he'd be the guy or maybe four years ago he could've been the guy. With Dean, you get more than just nicely packaged Democratic platitudes. You get a sense, that when he wins, it'll be the beginning of a truly grown-up American civilization that takes care of its own and makes friends abroad. I can't wait.

Thanks so much for this! I've been reading a book lately called "Unequal Protection -- The Rise of Corporate Dominance and the Theft of Human Rights" by Thom Hartmann, which explains how large corporations have succeeded in taking over the government in a process that began in the mid-1800s and has really escalated since Reagan's administration. Dean is SO RIGHT: if we, the People, don't join together and start turning this country around soon, democracy will literally be a thing of the past. This man is so much more than the best candidate to beat Bush -- he's offering us a chance to reconnect with the values and principles this country was founded upon, which are so endangered at this point they're starting to seem exotic. He's absolutely the right man at the right time.

Thanks Dana, and good idea.

DeanTV.org has always advocated a movement that captures the imaginations of INDEPENDENTLY THINKING VOTERS. Party affiliation, after all, might start to seem petty when people really start to realize that what we are fighting for is the preservation of this country's founding ideals.

Dean seems to be happy to oblige in this direction based on what I heard last night. Did anyone else's jaws drop after some of those gutsy comments of his? I'm inspired.

As always, DeanTV.org stands ready to help in any way we can, officially or unofficially.
