One of the many sellout things that annoyed me about Clinton (Monica Lewinsky is not one of them) was the fact that he cared only about himself and not the fortunes of the Democratic Party. In 1996 Democratic Leaders pleaded with him to campaign for a Democratic Congress and he said no because he was to concerned with his own reelection.

stephen, i agree with you. clinton was all about clinton. and he still is. while i do have respect for him on many levels, that was one thing that always has and always will bother me. he was apure opportunist.
