The Burlington Meetup went very well.
We had about 60 people come out and everyone seemed really psyched and ready to rally.
Many letters were written, much schmoozing was done. Joe Trippi and the whole Internet Dream Team showed up towards the end as well.
Much enjoyed my first meetup!

Norwich, CT did well. We about 15, our average. 5 were new folks.
The primary discussion was about how to do a Meetup site split. We are going to split our Meetup next month between Waterford, which is west of New London and Killingly, which is in the Northeast corner of Connecticut. So far no one from Norwich has volunteered to be a Meetup host for January. Since Dean has narrowed Lieberman's lead in CT in the last Quinnipiac poll to 5 pts, down from 16 pts, we feel that splitting our Meetup will help us attract more people to Dean in Eastern CT and give us a chance to concentrate on initiating outreach activities in our local areas.
I did get everyone to take work sheets to write undecided voters in New Hampshire and pass out the Common Sense pamphlets. One of those who attended is a member of SEIU and she took a stack to place at a table at work. Terry from Killingly CT | Email | Homepage | 12.05.03 - 10:56 am | #
