Did everyone see that a poll has us ahead in South Carolina? It's neck and neck between several candidates, but this is still pretty good news. The CW has been for awhile that if Dean wins Iowa and NH, then the "Stop-Dean" candidate will emerge from South Carolina, where people think the "Vermont liberal" won't do well. The fact that no one is outpolling Dean right now shows that the CW may just be wishful thinking by his opponents. G Spot1 | Email | Homepage | 12.05.03 - 11:24 am | #

First thoughts from opening night at the Florida Convention:
There's no doubt that Dean supporters outnumber everyone else. There is a lot of visible support for Clark. I saw a few people for Kerry, a few for Kucinich and a few Lieberman and Edwards people. Not one Gephardt sign or appearance.
If I had to guess, I'd say it's 60% Dean, 35% Clark, and 5% split between the other four. Dave | Email | Homepage | 12.05.03 - 11:05 pm | #
