3 million? That's it? Dude. I don't know how many of his voters Dean will pick up, but I did talk to one guy at Oliver Willis who said that Dean and Lieberman were his favorites. So it's not a total wash.

I think a lot of the Lieberman supporters are less "for" Lieberman than they are "for" some moderate. At first glance, Lieberman appears to be the archetype moderate.

When people wake up and realize that Dean is the moderate in the race -- balancing the budget, for example, or on gun control -- many will switch. And when they start hearing him speak, and realize that being moderate and standing up for yourself aren't mutually exclusive, well ....

Howard Dean's money is clean money, direct from the voters. I wonder how much of lieberman's, edwards' and kerry's money is from fat cats, special interest groups and power brokers?
