I'm generally not surprised. Many of the positions The American Prospect has taken are very compatable with Governor Dean's. All we need now is an official endorsement.

I think this is the second time I've read an article on Gov. Dean where the author admits that "I got so wrapped up in listening to him at that moment that for the first time all evening, I forgot to take notes." Which is a great tribute to the Governor's ability to give a speech, but kind of annoying nonetheless, at least for those of us who want to know what he had to say.

Yeah, there was an article in Seven Days, a Burlington based weekly (sevendaysvt.com), where the entire assignment for the reporter was to report on Dean's speech, and he got so caught up in the speech he forgot to take notes during the whole thing. I think it's fairly amazing that Dr. Dean can have that kind of an effect on reporters, who have to sit through innumerable speeches by politicians.
