There's a great article on Dean here: http://www.forward.com/issues/20...1.03/

Both the Times (UK) article and the above-posted Forward piece are excellent, especially as introductory reading for people who might not know Dean at all. I hope they're soon posted on deanforamerica.com.
Actually, I hope that website is generally revamped. As the announcements ramp up over the next few weeks, I'm sure that people will be scouting out the alternatives on the internet. An attractive, regularly updated site gives off that "ducks-in-a-row" vibe that voters seem to demand from their candidates before they give them their full attention. The campaign would do well to remember the online fundraising successes of the insurgent candidates of 2000 (Bradley/McCain). Joe Mariani | Email | Homepage | 01.04.03 - 12:12 pm | #

This article uses alot od common sense. Common sense I see every day among so called "average Americans". Dr Dean also used that common sense very effectively in piblic office. Fiscal repsonsibility with progressive social and enviromental policies are what I hear all the time from the "average Americans". In the west, which Washington seem aleays to ignore, Democrats had sweeping victories in previously held GOP states. These states for the most part were left with huge deficits from the Replublican controll. Kay McDonough Jensen | Email | Homepage | 01.05.03 - 12:01 pm | #
