You need to correct your notice, if using assumptions you should follow with were not was. It makes a difference to those of us checking out this unknown canidate.

Perhaps if you were aware of the background of the issue, you wouldn't have bothered to leave such a snarky comment.

We'd previously been in contact with the Dean campaign, and when their site went offline we naturally assumed it had something to do with the planned upgrade. It had nothing to do with the upgrade, and I said as much in the post you commented on: "My earlier assumptions were incorrect". Hrm. Sounds like a correction to me.
