How far short of $5000?

I realize this is asking a lot, but how about posting a list of which states are still under $5000?

And how do internet contributions get tallied? What state are they in? Or do we need to notify someone? Who?

Anyone else notice that deanforamerica.com doesn't have any foreign policy topics under the "on the issues" section? Someone should get on this.

I attended a similar fundraiser today in D.C. that was intended to raise money from Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. ($5000 each). It went very well, there were about 150-200 people jammed in a tiny house (they had expected 40). They loked to be raising a good amount (they got $20 on top of $20 I had previously given, a lot for a student like me).

Senator Jeffords was there and spoke briefly. Dean went over very well. Almost everyone was impressed after Dean finished.

TXdem, I don't know for sure what the final tally will be, as the checks are still rolling in from folks who were unable to attend. as soon as dr starr has some final numbers i will post them. thank you so much for asking, but i'll still urge you to give a few bucks if you can. =)

90210, i will contact the dean campaign today and try to find an answer for you. great question!

How do we find out when Dean will be in a particular area? I live in Maryland, but I didn't know until tonight that there had been a fundraiser in DC.

I only found out myself when I called the campaign HQ on an unrelated matter. Maybe for now we'll have to periodically check in with them...

The current tally for the Dallas fundraiser is $2000. Checks keep trickling in by mail. Hopefully folks who can donate will continue to do so.

I don't know if we're still short on the $5000 for Texas.

CB,

I found through an e-mail from Dean for America. There is an option on the website where you can sign up to join an e-mail list and another to be added to a volunteer list. I should have posted the event on the forum but I was a bit busy with school. I assume that if you join the e-mail list, you will get updates relevant to your area.

Sincerely,
MDDCC

Please note that Dean's web has been updated and is now really good.

Today, I attended a "Meet the Candidate" brunch in New Hampshire. While it was a small attendance, the folks really took to the governor. In his last message to us, he encouraged us to email our friends to let them know about the candidate. He's still needs visibilty and the more folks that get to his web site, the more folks that will contribute. Please help get the email campaign in high gear.
