I'd like to hear Kerry's explaination of why he voted yes. Is it online anywhere? I don't want to leap to call him inconsistent, but it doesn't look good.

I was very disappointed in the way most Democrats including Kerry voted to give Bush a blank check on Iraq. I would have greater respect for Kerry if he simply admitted he was wrong instead of giving fancy rationalizations.

i think that many progressives were disgusted with the blank check votes. i know i was, and i won't support the re-election of anyone who voted for it.

This is one of the important distinctions between Dean and the rest of the dem candidates and the reason many will only vote for the dem candidate if Dean is the choice. How can we be expected to vote for a Dem_X_ when Dem_X_ ignored thousands of calls and letters to give bush a blank check for war?
