Bob Edwards on Morning Edition has started a series of interviews with Presidential candidates. This morning's interview was with Edwards, who came off as a really nice guy, but also as a rather vague candidate. I forgot to note the URL for this post, but I'll put it up in a later comment. |

Here's a link to the Edwards interview I mentioned in my earlier post. |

Tavis Smiley's okay but the NPR shows that Dean needs to go on are Diane Rehm, Talk of The Nation or either of the Weekend Edition or Weekend All Things Considered. I don't understand why Begala/Carville - assuming they have some say about guests haven't had him on Crossfire. I think Carville/Begala are biased towards Southern Democratic Presidential candidates. I will gag if there's yet another twangy accent running the show at the WH in '04. |

We'll have to suggest Diane's show as well. After all she could give him either a half or whole hour, and you know the guy would totally shine.... =) |
|
I would also suggest "Science Friday". With Governor Dean's background as a medical doctor, SF can be used as portal to tekkies in Silicon Valley or Redmond, Washington. |
|
I think Dean is doing a good job of talking to the right people. He would be very refreshing to hear on "All Things Considered" or "Morning Edition" and certainly on "Crossfire" He would be a breath of fresh air there. |

Can I make a suggestion? I think you should rename the "Video Archives" section to "Video/Audio Archives" or "Streaming Media Archives" or somesuch. I was excited to see a viedo of the Smiley/Dean interview but disappointed to get just an audio version of the same piece I heard on the radio. |
