All states are required to use proportional representation to divide their delegates proportionately among all candidates who receive at least 15% of the vote in the primary. So, Dean can get some delegates for his campaigning. Mostly, though, MA can be a source of $$. |

The real news from the article is Grossman's endorsement. With the former head of the DNC's vast network of money, Dean should be able to do very well in the invisible primary. We as grassroots activists should also invest in Dean's campaign as well. |

Feel it is important for Howard Dean to campaign in Mass even though he is going head on against Kerry. Recently I saw Dean on the news in Mass and this is what it's all about - exposure. How else will people get to know him and hear his message if he doesn't campaign even where it's tough. |
