hope the hollywood coffers open sooner rather than later, and that the lion's share goes Dean's way. That'd go a long way in weeding out the other candidates who may distract from Dean.
This is HUGE! What we've been discussing at New York for Dean is 1) name recognition and 2) money. We still have to work hard, hard, hard at both, but this will really open doors.

This is off-topic, but I'd like to request some HTML/graphic help from any skilled webcreatures. The list of regional "4Dean" groups is getting encouragingly huge. We need a clickable image map that could fit into the sidebar, perhaps something like the one here:

but smaller. Clicking the right state would take you to that state's regional group.
If someone has any ideas on this, please email me... thanks! I just want to clean up teh sidebar clutter and make the information easier to access.

sounds good - though we will have a problem with some of the groups, like "Cleveland for Dean" - which is where clicking Ohio will default to, unless we end up with a "Columbus for Dean..." you see the problem :P

You could handle the Cleveland/Columbus problem (ahh, to have such problems!) with call-outs, the way your example handled the New England states.

It would probably be easiest to just have a drop-box with the list of regional sites and use a couple lines of JavaScript to redirect.
a drop box would be a great idea, but we have to make sure that text-only browsers would be able to use it. some of those browsers filter our javascript. hey aziz, i can work up a drop down on saturday and test it in all browsers. it's not that hard and it'll only take me about an hour. i'd do it today but i have lots to do here at work.
Meathead! Meathead is on the bandwagon! He is so well connected, this could be a really huge advantage to Dr. Dean.
Maybe we can get a good mockumentary out of this.
