Just got another call from the college, so let me also note that this will be on the first floor of Elsner Library. If anyone attends, please let us know how it goes! anna | Email | Homepage | 03.11.03 - 3:28 pm | #

Hey all--
Please give a report on the Governor's appearance tonight. How many people were there? Was there local press coverage? Mathew | Email | Homepage | 03.11.03 - 6:02 pm | #

I found this article about Dean being in Arizona, but nothing on his appearance at MCC so far...
A snippet:
Invading Iraq would be "the wrong war at the wrong time," and the United States should be more concerned about North Korea, Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean said Tuesday in Phoenix.
"I hope very much that we will not go into Iraq," the former Vermont governor told a news conference outside Gov. Janet Napolitano's office.
"Saddam Hussein should be disarmed by the United Nations - that's their job," Dean said.
North Korea's rapid move toward building nuclear weapons is not a regional problem as President Bush has portrayed it, but "a major, full-blown world crisis" worthy of bilateral talks, Dean said. So far, the Bush administration has rejected dealing one-on-one with North Korea. anna | Email | Homepage | 03.12.03 - 10:41 am | #
