Any ideas about how to get the Times to include this article in their Washington/Campaigns section, not just the Circuits section?

I encourage all of us Dean supporters to take advantage of these national press stories (The Nation, NYTimes, and USA Today - 3/14) to write letters to the editor. My note to NYTimes below:

March 14, 2003

Editor, New York Times

To the Editor,

Here's a theory as to why Vermont Gov. Howard Dean is catching on with the internet crowd ("Like Online Dating, With a Political Spin," March 13). People who use the internet are looking for straight-talk and facts in real-time. No pussy-footing around.

Gov. Dean has made his campaign all about telling it like it is without the pollsters or pundits telling him what to say, or how to say it. It's not just what he's talking about balanced budgets, health care for all, and other Democratic principles - it's how he says it that appeals to many in the online community... and, hopefully to the rest of the country as well.

Christopher J. Curtis

Get 'em in there, and good luck!

Best, Christopher

Today, the Dean meetups passed 6,000 people!

As of Friday eve, Dean continues to outpace Kerry on the Meetup sign-ups by a 10:1 margin; 600 new names in the last 24 hours. Let's keep up the momentum.
