05/02/2002 Archived Entry: "Marijuana and the duopoly WOD"

The Marijuana debate is interesting in both party's as the Democrats have plenty of heavy-handed DNC pols like Strickland who are pro-WOD, in order to not look weak on crime issues; while the GOP has the social conservatives that are zealous in their war on drug use. Fissures are developing in both parties because of this, Johnson has carried the legalization mantle for the GOP awhile, and it looks like WI's Thompson (the brother) is going to now take it with him to the Libertarian Party.
