05/02/2002 Archived Entry: "Krugman & Taxes"
And if you think I'm being too cynical, you haven't been paying attention.
Krugman has been on Bush's number the whole gig. The only Democrat planning to run against Bush who appears to be hearing him is Howard Dean, whom I have a 2004 webpage up for, in volunteer support of his fledging candidacy. He's the only one who has the good sense to make the Tax Cuts for the 1% the economic issue in 2004. I suppose Gore could to, because he campaigned against them strongly, though he must have lacked the time to have come out in support of repealing them now, or, for that matter, as against them while the voting was ongoing last year.
Reading Krugman is like getting a dose of economic sanity each week.
