05/24/2002 Archived Entry: "Phoenix memo"

Looks like some people are beginning to report on their reading of the Phoenix memo, Fortune, and the Senators.

The computer-generated memo was at least three pages long... Republican Grassley, who has previously called for releasing the memo, said he is no longer sure it should be made public.

That's an interesting development. I like Fortune's idea instead: But the first step is clear: The memo should be released immediately, names blacked-out if necessary, so we can all learn what Agent Williams knew.

And, this is the story that links back to those disgruntled FBI agents out of MN.

This is exactly what should have been getting aired back in Sept/Oct of last year, instead of all that flag waving and color-coding the security level (we are still at yellow).
