This is a terrific site for political astrology and badly needed. This last years events have been such a dramatic study in what we don't know and to what we need to be paying attention. Isn't that really what Gemini and Sagittarius tell us. Pay attention!! With Mars and Uranus in the US chart in Gemini and Pluto opposing from Sagittarius, it would seem to me to be a karmic lesson of "listen up." We don't listen or pay attention in this country too well, and GWB is a good representative of that quality within us. The US has so many planets in Gemini and Cancer, all about "what I KNOW and what I NEED" With the progressed Sun on the US Moon and transiting Uranus sitting right there on top of them is a definite call to the United States finding their place in the scheme of humanity and how they can be a part of and serve the larger humanitarian needs. When Uranus and Saturn were in a square and now Pluto and Saturn in an opposition, Saturn (the old way) is going to lose because Uranus and Pluto stay around a lot longer cleaning up the mess, and promoting their agendas. As we and the world change and grow our Natal Saturn in Libra will show us where we are out of balance and right now it's trying to show us we are out of balance in the area of listening and understanding the needs of others. This has been a painful lesson for us but when has Saturn not squeezed the life of pleasure in order to see the path. I expect that when Saturn gets to Cancer we will be shown how our (the US) needs are in the way of the needs of the rest of humanity (Aquarius) With the US Natal Sun and Saturn in square and Transiting Saturn setting that off, we will have a Karmic price to pay, don't know what that will be for sure, but I do know that GWB will be blamed for that price and hopefully, as a person, Mr. Bush will learn to truly be compassionate and listen to others, he will at least have the opportunity for his own personal growth, as the US has an opportunity for their collective growth. Whether Mr. Bush can take that opportunity I don't know, but I do know that a willow that won't bend won't weather the storm.
