May be this guy can change the course of the GOP, if he ever gets the nomination and breaks the back of the southern GOP. A different kind of conservative.

From the perspective of the rightwing, this goes in the "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" rationalization. The Global Fundamentalist Allies against Freedom of Choice.

Time to get rid of the GOP from the House. Based on the polls I have so far, big gains in the governor's mansion by the Democrats appear likely although no one publicizes this particularly inside the beltway. Look forward to hearing from you on thursday or friday.

More garbage from the Washington insiders. No one inside the Beltway even talks about the governor's races, where as per the recent polls democrats can pick up anywhere between six and eleven governorships.

And this one is the biggest joke...sitting inside Washington and writing about California. Mike Sandalow in his piece about an Island in a Sea of Republicans last month just wrote the reverse.

More garbage from the quintessential CQ's Mary Clare Jalonick:

(1) Louisiana Senate Race, where Landreu is well over 50%

and more recently ignoring all polls about the close race and Enron, her garbage about how the GOP has an advantage in the Texas Senate race:

And more garbage from her about the Arkansas Senate Race...leans GOP while even Rove thinks Hutchinson is more endagered than the Dodo:

This article sounds like I wrote it. Finally an island of common sense in a sea of well...not so much common sense.

Whose side is the GOP on? On the side of the seniors or are they on the side of the pharmaceutical corporations?

Hi Mydd:

Are you from Oregon? Actually I take back the statement I made about Allyson Stevens. Some moronic Professor from Brown University makes a misinformed statement about the governor's race in Oregon and she just printed it without any questions:

“If you have a situation where a governor is unusually popular, that could be a situation where he or she might have coattails,” said Darrell West, a professor of political science at Brown University. He pointed to Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber (D), a popular first-term incumbent who is favored to win his bid for reelection this year.

Kitzhaber decided against making a Senate bid this year. But he could nonetheless help his colleague, Secretary of State Bill Bradbury (D), win an uphill battle against Sen. Gordon Smith (R)."

Goes to show you that people outside the beltway are not very well informed either. May be you should write a letter to the Hill about this moronic statement.

Kitzhaber, Kulongoski... it's all the same, begins with a K. LOL. I dunno, it might have been West's mistake, but I'd put the blame on Allyson Stevens, she makes a lot of mistakes. I used to email and tell her, this is ineptitude.

West was right, Kitzhaber was able to use his endorsement to make it a breeze for Kulongoski, and his endorsement and campaigning for Bradbury will be huge. But the mistake is Allyson's most likely.

Hello Mydd:

Welcome back. Do you have Stevens's e-mail? I would send her one as well. I tried clicking on her name in the Hill Magazine website. But, could not get to it.

Thanks
