Here's a good explanation of the nations debt, Measuring the Debt. The current deficit spending debt is about equal the legit bond debt that they mention at $3.3 trillion at the end of 2001. As the article goes on to explain, that's just 1/10th of the "total debt" we owe.

...even as a new CNN Poll shows the Dems taking a big lead in the Congressional generic ballot (see pollingreport). However, I am very skeptical about this, as I am about Ipos Reid. I think the CBS and NBC numbers are perhaps right on the mark.

Details of CNN Poll. But, more garbage from Goeas and company. "Well the Dems are ahead, but the House GOP should align themselves with Bush." He also says that two-thirds approve of Bush's handling of the economy...which we all know is total garbage.
