We already know who the five choices are going to be for the Democratic nomination. There is the bowing out of Lieberman to look forward to, and then Howard Dean's announcement in Jan, then the others and we go onto the nominating season. But here's what might complicate the picture.

I got this from a reader: I have a strange feeling, call it Woman's Intuition, that Cheney will step down for health reasons and his wife Lynn Cheney will take his place as VP. That would be quite an October surprise. No messy photo's of the Cheney's moving out of Al Gore's house, or stories about how Cheney got the boot by Bush, think about it, makes good sense. It also decidingly narrows the Democratic VP choices in 2004, as it would probably result in a woman getting the VP nomination for the Democrats.
