Adam Taff 27,924 - 51%
Jeff Colyer 26,706 - 49%


10:45 Central. Exit polling by Freep showed Dingell leading Rivers. The poll showed Dingell with 55 percent of the vote and Rivers with 44 percent.

Early AP results show a closer race:

10:30 Central. Taff is leading Colyer by less than 2 percent:

3rd District KS ( 290 of 601 precincts reported)
Jeff Colyer Republican 17,619 49.2
Adam Taff Republican 18,152 50.7


10:20 Central. With 53 percent of precincts reporting, Shallenburger was receiving 42 percent. Running second was Senate President Dave Kerr, of Hutchinson, who had 29 percent. In third place was Wichita Mayor Bob Knight, receiving 26 percent of the vote. Knight concedes race to Shallenberger.

9:30 Central. Freep pulled a Drudge and released the results of the early exit polling numbers for the Gov race, Granholm wins Democratic nod, to face Posthumus in November.
