09/08/2002 Archived Entry: "Dean On Top of MyDD Reader Poll; Sept 10th Contest Links"

The ongoing poll includes 100 votes to date, early-adpters continue to pad Dean's lead. The Pundits are speaking with their vote, and at this point Dean, with 39 percent, leads with a plurality of the votes; Gore remains solid in second place with 30 percent; Kerry captures third with 18 percent; Edwards moves into double-digits with 10 percent; and Gephardt pulls up the rear with 3 percent; write-in candidates Lieberman and Sharpton have not a single vote.

Update: With 200 votes now casted, Dean has been Gore'd out of the lead. Al Gore now leads with 37 percent; Howard Dean is a close second with 34 percent; John Kerry is slipping in third with 13 percent; while John Edwards is gaining with 12 percent; Dick Gephardt (despite Kobe's fine analysis of Gephardt's chances in the comments) remains stuck at 3 percent. Write-in candidates Joe Lieberman & Al Shapton have still not garnered a single vote.
