The Governor contests seem much clearer then the House or the Senate. A net gain of 6-8 seats for the Democrats seems pretty conservative-- it could more easily slip to 10 then retreat to 4; then again, "Iron Fist" of The Iron Fist Of Capitalism website emailed to tell me that the Republicans would maintain a 28-22 advantage over the Democrats in Governor seats... The WA Post's Neal takes a poke at predictions; these Freepers are getting whacky again-- GOP predicts Simon upset. Mr. Moderate, true to his name, sent in a few changes, letting me know that the Republicans were taking back New England...
