Meme Dean, take three...

Gawd it's funny to watch the national media flounder about while trying to label Dean as something... heeeree's the Closet centrist meme! Now, he's not liberal enough. Meanwhile, the rightwingers are getting nervous themselves about facing Dean, instead of take-your-pick of the Senators, and begging for the press to start hacking at him, Bring On Deano. You will appreciate this last one, from FreeRepublic, "Help $upport Dean to become the Dem nominee". The article starts off by referring to the "Dean will win the Caucuses" posted here, that asks Republicans to gove money to Dean, so Bush can crush him, but then shows some of them have a clue about how powerful a Dean candidacy will become-- the others will get what they want, and not like it a bit:

To: NYC Republican

I am worried more about Dean. He's kinda like Clinton. Gee, who is theis guy? Where did he come from? I think the guy is dangerous. He's not afraid to speak out and very bluntly I may add.

We gotta get on this guy bad. I mean it. Clinton, in the beginnning was not seen as a threat...look what happened?

This guy has to go.

Agree. This guy is scary. An iconclast, coming out of the woodwork. Don't underestimate this jerk, he's blunt (ala McCain) and could cause a lot of unforeeseeable damage.

Barnes and the freepers sure don't sound like they smell blood, but I sense fear...

I'll get another post in this week, on the MoveOn.org vote. It's highly unlikely that Dean wins a majority, as MoveOn has made a last-minute decision to include a "write-in" vote. Gore, Clinton, Nader, Clark et. al., will mean another 10% (at least) that is unavailabe to a potential majority. btw, another great speech by Dean.

Update: PoliPundit thought that Dean's performance on Meet the Press was quite miserable, and is now asking that Republicans stop donating to Dean. These guys live in an alternate universe; can anyone imagine Bush even being able to answer hardball questions for an hour? I thought not.
